Master work
The work of Tomanovic has a connection with great masters like Leonardo da Vinci and Joseph Mallord William Turner. Tomanovic especially mastered and refined Turner's 'wet on wet' techniques. Tomanovic managed to create his own style of overwhelming paintings. He developed techniques to portray both realistic and stunning cosmic sceneries, plus amazing blends of these styles, and transparent / translucent effects as can be seen in his Venice series. Using the latest highest quality paints in combination with pigments and other materials, this lead to Tomanovic's astonishing style.

Art for business
Apart from private collectors from various countries in Europe and art collectors in America and Japan, there is also a growing interest for Bob's work from the business community. The unusual aura of the paintings creates a positive working atmosphere in office buildings.

Interior design
Tomanovic has also worked (in collaboration with an exclusive interior design and furnishings shop in the Netherlands) on a new concept, integrating his art into furniture and interior design.

Tomanovic: 'In my present work I am mainly inspired by deep revelations which I experienced during my meditation sessions. These are so unique that I have tried to portray them in my work.'

Matter, energy, space and time
Since several years Bob leads meditation sessions referred to as Gnostic Intensives. The Gnostic Intensives are very important for Bob's way of life and for his work: 'The experiences, visions, images and insights, which I have lived in the past twenty years, have formed a source of inspiration for my work. You could say that my paintings are visual stories or rather expressions of the dimension, which I have experienced. The Dimension of Consciousness beyond MEST (matter, energy, space and time) process. Having said this, I hope that you will enjoy your "stroll" through my gallery."
